I cry for those I cannot save,
I cry for those I'll never save,
I cry for those that choose not to be saved,
I want to save them all but I know that's not how it is to be as some just don't want to be,
Just because there is no note does not mean it wasn't chosen,
Some just choose to take the longer road to ending it for themselves,
Maybe it's fear that makes it this way,
Regardless I still cry for those that won't or can't be saved,
The hardest part of being a nurse sometimes is letting go of those we cannot save.
